This is for a series of posts for the Borgata Hotel & The Water Club including: Bobby Flay Steak, Wolfgang Puck American Grille, Wolfgang Puck American Grille [2], The Cafeteria, Tony Luke's, N.O.W., N.O.W. When I head to AC for the weekend, other than at the blackjack tables, there is no place I would rather be than at the Water Club in the Borgata Hotel, Casino, & Spa. Even with the newly opened Revel on the Boardwalk, the Water Club is where it's at. When AC is referenced, most people think of an 80's style casino with faux gold color all around and carpet all around (Sorry, Trump). The Borgata and the Water Club have brought AC into the 21st century with their Vegas-style design..

Once you enter into the Casino, head to your right past the comp desk and go through the Shoppes. Perhaps it's just me, but I swear I can detect a faint chlorine smell emanating from the multiple pools at the Water Club. Amazing.
Check in at the beautiful front desk, or perhaps grab a quick bite at Iron Chef Zakarian's Sun Room.
Once you get your key though, head on up through the elevators and the well-designed corridors. And enter into your room ...
A king-sized bed? Don't mind if I do ...
Oh yes - feel free to welcome me to my room on the TV ...
Some coffee or minibar items perhaps?
Or shall we lounge on the chaissez?
Enjoy the view of the ... marshes (OK perhaps I'm being a bit too effusive hehe).
But there's nothing wrong when the hotel provides bath robes and an iron.
And an iPod dock and alarm clock to make sure you're up for your spa appointment.
The bathrooms are definitely well-designed and spacious.
Can't complain about the beautiful shower, complete with dual front and overhead rainfall showerheads.
A separate room for the toilet? Don't mind if I mind my business.
If you opt to work out, they've got a fitness center on the spa level.
Nothing beats running with a view like that - but it comes at a price of $15 per person.
So be sure to grab some water during your work out and on your way out!
But perhaps you're looking to truly relax. Because really, you're at the Water Club to enjoy the multiple pools.
And in case you didn't know - the pools at the Water Club are adults only. The doors are shut to the dirty, loud kids and their inner tubes. They can head to the Borgata, which isn't shabby in its own right.
You've got your inside oasis with two jacuzzis.
And trust me when I say the outside pool is bumpin' when the summer sun is out. The beach chairs are filled and the poolside drink service is spectacular.
Last time around, we saw Teresa and Joe Guidice of Real Housewives 'fame.' New Jersey's form of celebrities. Can you spot the 5 minutes of fame?
Needless to say, unless you're getting comped rooms, or at least getting reduced room rates via comps, you'll be paying more than a few hundred bucks a night. But show the Borgata some play and you'll be rewarded with luxury lodging in AC.
