And there's no better excuse to check out what Executive Chef Ralph Fernandez has to offer than on October 11th, they'll be hosting a Scent & Food Pairing Event! Sure, we've all had the perfect wine pairing, but have you ever had the perfect candle scent or perfume to accentuate your mood, or meal? In an effort to provide a unique experience, Autograph is partnering with diptyque for a home fragrance and food-pairing event.
Guests will be able to discover the fragrances and raw materials behind diptyque, with Chef Fernandez translating three iconic eau de perfumes into three courses: dyptique's Philoskyos scent of fig leaves, wood, sap, and black pepper will be paired with Humboldt Fog goat cheese toast with black mission fig jam, barrel aged black pepper balsamic, and fall herbs. L'Ombre dans L'Eau of Bulgarian Rose, black currant buds, petit grain, and black currant leaves will be paired with black currant honey-glazed duck breast, autumn spiced root vegetables, Red Jewel sweet potatoes, and cassis huckleberry duck jus. Finally, Eau Duelle, which has notes of bourbon vanilla, pink peppercorn, cypriol, and calamus will be paired with vanilla creme brulee, barrel-aged bourbon maple berries, and pink peppercorn shortbread!
